Messi Bailey's First Disney Trip
Walt Disney World · Orlando, Florida · 3-Day Base Tickets Included
November 20 – 24, 2026
I could not be more excited for your family — Messi's first Disney trip is something he will remember for the rest of his life, and November is honestly one of my favorite times to go. The crowds are lighter than summer, the weather is beautiful, and the holiday decorations start going up, which makes the whole park feel extra magical. I put together three resort options at different price points so you can see what fits best, and I included everything you need to know about dining plan add-ons, the Memory Maker photo package, and the Park Hopper upgrade. My personal recommendation for your family is at the top — but all three are fantastic, and I'm here to talk through any of it. Let's make some magic for the Baileys!

If you want to completely blow Messi's mind before you even step inside a park — book Animal Kingdom Lodge. Real African savanna animals roam just outside your balcony: giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and flamingos visible from your room at dawn and dusk. The resort is a stunning architectural achievement, built around a four-story thatched atrium with African art and cultural storytelling throughout. Dining at Boma or Jiko is an experience in itself. Park Hopper Ticket Upgrade
All three quotes above include 3-Day Base Tickets, which allow entry to one park per day. Upgrading to Park Hopper tickets lets you visit multiple parks in a single day — for example, Magic Kingdom in the morning and EPCOT for dinner. The Park Hopper upgrade adds approximately $400 to any of the packages above. For a first trip with young children, base tickets are often the right call — one park per day is plenty! — but if you want the flexibility, it's absolutely worth it.
Erica Recommends
Memory Maker Photo Package
Memory Maker is one of the best values Disney offers, especially for a first trip. Disney PhotoPass photographers are stationed throughout all four parks, at ride photo spots, and at character meet-and-greets — and with Memory Maker, every single photo and ride photo taken during your trip is included and downloadable. No awkward "do we buy this one?" moments at ride exits. You just smile, move on, and download everything when you get home. For a family capturing Messi's first Disney experience, this is a no-brainer.
Disney Dining Plan Add-Ons
Both dining plans are priced per person, ages 3+, per night of stay. Children ages 3–9 get a FREE dining plan when added to your package — already reflected in the prices below. The plans give you pre-paid meal credits redeemable throughout Walt Disney World.
Add-On Option A
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan
$725.64
total add-on · children 3–9 FREE
Great for families who want the convenience of prepaid meals without committing to table-service dining reservations. Counter-service spots throughout the parks are excellent quality.
Add-On Option B
Disney Dining Plan
$1,183.05
total add-on · children 3–9 FREE
Includes sit-down restaurant credits redeemable for Character Dining and Signature experiences — like Cinderella's Royal Table or Chef Mickey's. Perfect if you want the full Disney dining experience.

Why November is Special
You Picked a Great Time to Go
a few things to look forward to
Holiday Decorations
Disney begins decorating for Christmas in early November. By your arrival on the 20th, the parks are fully transformed — a holiday first Disney trip is truly something special.
Lighter Crowds
Early-to-mid November is one of the least crowded periods at Walt Disney World. Shorter wait times mean more rides, more character moments, and a less exhausting experience for little ones.
Perfect Weather
November in Orlando means highs around 75–80°F with low humidity. Comfortable for walking all day, warm enough for the pools, and cool enough for evening strolls without the summer heat.
