FAQs

When does booking officially open?

Booking will opens May 5, 2026 for the cruise portion. FantaSea Event tickets go on sale May 10th.

What is included in the cruise fare?

The price includes your cruise stateroom, dining (buffets, a la carte options, and dinner in the main dining room each evening), and incredible entertainment options offered by the Wonder. (See link below!)

What isn’t included?

Royal Caribbean offers a variety of add-ons for you to choose from, like beverage packages, VOOM internet, specialty dining, excursions, and multiple shopping venues. These and anything not listed above are at an additional cost and are not included in the fare. Prepaid gratuities and travel insurance are strongly suggested and available to add on to your cruise package. Gratuities and insurance are not included in the rates posted above. Your method of transportation to and from Port Canaveral is also not included. If you choose to add a beverage package, everyone in the stateroom must have the same package.

What's included in my Rain and Revelry FantaSea ticket?

An enchanting welcome satchel filled with thoughtfully curated bookish treasures, access to professional photography to capture your story, materials for fantastical crafting sessions, and an itinerary brimming with immersive, fantasy-inspired experiences from beginning to end.

Who should come?

Everyone who loves (and maybe hates, at the moment) the hottest books of the decade. For our purposes, only those 18+ will be allowed to participate in the book-themed activities and every stateroom must have a guest that is 21+ as the lead guest. The age guests are on the first date of sailing is the age considered. Feel free to bring your whole squad, but if you’re flying solo you can connect with others in the group to room together! (*If you decide to room with someone through the FB group that you do not know personally, that is at your own discretion and risk.)

How hard do I have to go on the themed activities?

That’s up to you! If you want to just wear dragon earrings and call it good, you go girl! If you plan to have a full Night Court gown, you go girl! You may NOT bring aboard prohibited items even if they relate to your outfit. As the specific themed activity itinerary is finalized, it’ll be announced in our Facebook group so everyone can dish about how they plan to participate!

Do I have to be a joiner?

Nope! You can just be a book dragon who loves to be surrounded by other book dragons while drinking poolside. Join in on the activities or just come soak up the sun and the vibes! You DO have to purchase an event ticket to attend but participation in each event is not mandatory.

What if I book on my own or with another travel agent?

Due to capacity restrictions and advanced planning, guests must book with Erica at Polka Dots N Wishes Travel for this cruise and must book event tickets through A Court of Rain and Revelry once their cruise deposit is made.

What documents should I have with me?

You must have a valid ID in order to travel. U.S. Citizens may travel with a birth certificate on most sailings, but it must meet the requirements (found here). If you’ve had a name change (marriage, divorce, etc), it’s recommended you bring a copy of that paperwork to show just in case. A passport is the best document for traveling, especially when cruising. Your passport cannot expire for at least 6 months AFTER our cruise’s end date. The name on the cruise documentation MUST match that which is on your ID. If you prefer to go by a different name, please indicate that to your travel agent, but the name on the stateroom documentation must match each guest’s government ID that they will use for the trip. You may be denied boarding if there is a discrepancy.

Is this an officially sponsored cruise?

No! This is a fan-led cruise. It is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with any fantasy author or publisher, or anyone else in charge of book or media production. While we hope it’s cauldron blessed, no princess has kissed a seal to make it happen. We’re bringing all the magic ourselves!

What if I’m traveling with a non-fantasy person?

No problem! While our cruise offers experiences for fans of fantasy, the ship itself offers a wide range of activities, entertainment, and relaxation options for guests of all kinds. However, due to our group’s policies and plans with Royal Caribbean, all guests must purchase a ticket with Rain & Revelry even if they’re not a high lord.

Is there a code of conduct?

Yes! The FantaSea Cruise team is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment for all guests. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or discrimination of any kind. Violations may result in removal from event participation without refund. We support one another at all times and respect one another.

Can influencers, authors, or partners get involved?

Yes! Opportunities for creators, authors, and collaborators will be announced. Click here to contact Rain & Revelry for this information.
