First-Timer Tips
Making the Most of Your Trip
- Early Theme Park Entry: All three resorts include 30 minutes of Early Entry before the parks open to the public. Use this to hit the most popular rides with zero wait — for little ones, head straight to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train or Frozen Ever After first thing.
- Memory Maker: Your package includes Memory Maker — Disney's PhotoPass photographers are stationed throughout every park and on most rides. Download unlimited professional photos and ride photos for free. Definitely use it on your first visit!
- Park Hopper Strategy: With 2 Park Hopper days and 4 parks available, a great plan for the Day family is Day 1: Magic Kingdom (the must-do), Day 2: Animal Kingdom in the morning + Hollywood Studios after 2pm for Toy Story Land.
- Lightning Lane: Not included but highly recommended — Disney's Lightning Lane Multi Pass allows you to skip standby lines on most attractions. Purchase through the My Disney Experience app starting at 7am each morning.
- Character Dining: For kids ages 2 & 4, a character meal is pure magic — meeting Mickey, Minnie, and friends up close at the table. Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary (Option 3) and Cinderella's Royal Table are the most beloved. Book 60 days in advance!
- Deposit & Balance: Secure your package with just $200 today. The remaining balance is due by October 2, 2026 (30 days before travel). Pricing is subject to change until the deposit is confirmed.
- What to Pack: Comfortable walking shoes are essential — expect 8–12 miles of walking per day. A small stroller for the 2-year-old is a must. Disney allows outside food and snacks, so pack favorites for the kids!
- November Magic: Early November at Disney World is one of the best times to visit — cooler weather, smaller crowds, and the very beginning of the holiday season. Christmas decorations typically go up November 1st, so the Day family may catch the resort transforming into a winter wonderland!
